Despoina Michailidou, MD, PhD

Leonardo Liberman, MD, is a pediatric cardiologist with special expertise in the diagnosis and management of pediatric patient with cardiac arrhythmias. His is the Director of Pediatric Electrophysiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Dr. Liberman has made significant contributions to the field with publications and presentations. His research work has been published in American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, Annals of Thoracic Surgery, Heart, and Journal of American College of Cardiology among other journals. He teaches fellows, residents and students at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Breta Boots, DO, is a general neurologist with particular expertise in clinical neurophysiology and headache. She treats conditions such as neuropathy, migraine, and other headache disorders, dementia, seizures, stroke, concussion, and many others. She performs procedures including Botox injections for chronic migraine, Nerve Blocks for headache disorders, and diagnostic EMG (including nerve conduction studies). She takes great care to get to know her patients, paying close attention to details of their multifaceted problems and ensuring that treatment is closely aligned with each individual’s values and circumstances. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by Internal Medicine internship at Lankenau Medical Center in Pennsylvania. She completed Neurology residency and sub-specialty Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA, with a focus on electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG). She later completed post-graduate training in Advanced Headache Diagnosis and Management at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She is board-certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Prior to joining the Department of Neurology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Neurological Institute of New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in 2025, she served as a General Neurologist and Clinical Neurophysiologist at Community Neuroscience Services in Westborough, Massachusetts for over 8 years. She joined Columbia as an Associate Clinical Neurologist in 2025, and sees patients at ColumbiaDoctors at NewYork-Presbyterian The One in Westchester County, New York.

Dr. Dizon has been at the Columbia University Medical Center since 1991, where he did his cardiology and electrophysiology training. He has remained on full-time staff and maintains a busy clinical practice, with offices in White Plains and in the medical center in upper Manhattan. Dr. Dizon's area of clinical expertise include cardiac arrhythmia management, including ablation of arrhythmias and device therapy. He has an active teaching interest, having mentored many students and fellows. He has participated in numerous multicenter and investigator initiated studies, and has authored or co-authored over 100 peer reviewed articles and abstracts.
