Dr. Deep Patel is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC), where he sees patients at the ColumbiaDoctors Third Avenue office, ColumbiaDoctors Midtown, and the CUMC main campus. Dr. Patel graduated summa cum laude from Wilkes University, where he also played on the baseball team. He then earned both his Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and received several awards, including the Business Leadership Immersion Scholar, Medical Student Research Award, and the Alphonse E. Leure-Dupree Exemplary Medical Student Award. He completed his internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and his dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Patel is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Patel is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and up-to-date care to all his patients. With a strong background in health systems and business administration, he brings a unique lens to quality improvement and systems-based care, leading initiatives that measurably enhance healthcare delivery. Outside of medicine, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his family, running and biking, and watching the Yankees (and the Knicks and Giants when they're good).

Dr. Larisa Geskin is a Professor of Dermatology (in Medicine) at Columbia University Medical Center and Director of the Comprehensive Skin Cancer Center (CSCC) at the Division of Cutaneous Oncology in the Department of Dermatology. Dr. Geskin completed her residency in Dermatology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), and a two-year fellowship in cutaneous oncology at University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI) with Louis Falo, MD, PhD, Professor and Chairman, Department of Dermatology, UPMC, and with John Kirkwood, MD, Professor and Vice Chairman for Clinical Research, Director of the Melanoma Center at the UPCI. She is a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology, member of the Society for Investigative Dermatology, the International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas, and US Cutaneous Lymphomas Consortium. She authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles in the field of cutaneous oncology. Her research interest focuses on Cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) and biomarkers discovery, genetic profiling and regulation, development of immunotherapy for melanoma and lymphoma.
