Patricia Finnegan, NP is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner is the division of Gynecologic Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She cares for patients with gynecologic cancers and patients with abnormal gynecologic problems. Before joining Columbia in 2015, Patricia served as Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner at Montefiore Nyack Hospital in Nyack, NY. Patricia has received numerous accolades for her work as nurse practitioner, including the 2018 the Employee Recognition Award from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYP/CUIMC, the Margaret Eliot Award and the Rockland County Nurse Recognition.

Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor of Medicine and medical oncologist specializing in the treatment of thoracic cancers including non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and mesothelioma. She received her bachelor's degree in molecular biology from Princeton University and completed her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed both her internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship at Columbia University, where she served as Chief Fellow. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Chen has an interest in identifying novel therapies through clinical trials for patients with lung cancer and other tumor types. She received the Journal of Clinical Oncology Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology in recognition of her work. Above all, Dr. Chen values her relationships with patients and their families and is dedicated to providing compassionate care that is tailored to each patient. Dr. Shayan Dioun is a Gynecologic Oncologist dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for those facing gynecologic cancers. He is committed to combining his extensive medical expertise with a patient-centered approach, ensuring the highest quality of care for patients. Dr. Dioun completed his medical education at Baylor College of Medicine. He then completed an Ob/Gyn residency before he pursued specialized training in gynecologic oncology at both Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Dioun specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic cancers, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal and vulvar cancers. Known for his empathetic and patient-focused care, Dr. Dioun prioritizes open communication. He believes in empowering his patients by ensuring they have a thorough understanding of their condition and treatment options. His compassionate approach helps patients navigate the complexities of a cancer diagnosis with confidence and support. His approach involves a comprehensive and multidisciplinary strategy involving practitioners, physician assistants, and radiation oncologists. He has extensive surgical training in minimally invasive surgery (both laparoscopy and robotic surgery), fertility-sparing surgery and more radical surgical values. He also has extensive training in chemotherapy, and other innovative targeted therapies to provide tailored and effective treatment plans for each patient. Dr. Dioun actively contributes to research in gynecologic oncology. His work has focused on health services research and modeling both outcomes and costs of treatments. His work is published in reputable medical journals, and he frequently presents his findings at national and international conferences.
