A nonprofit organization, Wartburg Lutheran Services has been operational for more than 100 years. One of the leading human service agencies in the United States, Wartburg has branch locations in Brooklyn, Poughkeepsie and Delmar, N.Y. The center serves more than 4,500 senior citizens annually and employs over 100 nurses, therapists, case coordinators, supervisors and doctors. It offers a wide variety of services and facilities, such as adult day care, private residences for seniors, residential treatment, clinical assessments, psychiatric services, individual and group counseling, psychotherapy programs, and medical evaluations and diagnostic solutions. The center also offers case management, crisis intervention, stabilization solutions, service coordination, supported group living, psychosocial rehabilitation programs, 24-hour emergency prescreening and vocational services, and other miscellaneous services.
