Third Evangelical Lutheran Church has served the Rhinebeck community since 1849. We are in partnership with 11, 000 congregations, 28 Lutheran colleges and universities, 8 seminaries, 350 world-wide missionaries, Lutheran Social Services of Metropolit an N.Y. a nd Lutheran World Relief; all ministries of the 5.2 million member Evangelical Lutheran Church in America ( ELCA ).
