Charlotte E Ariyan, MD - Memorial Sloan Kettering Westchester

I am a thoracic medical oncologist who has special training in treating all types of lung cancer. This includes non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, and thymoma. I am also an expert in palliative medicine. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), I serve as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). In this role, I manage clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and clinical operations across MSK.

I am a board-certified medical oncologist and work as part of a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with breast cancer. In my clinical research I focus on developing more-effective and less-toxic treatment strategies for women with this disease. My particular interest is in evaluating combination therapies that include anti-HER2 drugs with chemotherapy in the treatment of patients with early-stage and metastatic HER2-positive breast cancer.

Memorial Sloan Kettering surgeon Andrea Barrio specializes in all aspects of breast cancer surgery. She also has extensive experience in treating benign breast disease. Her practice is located at MSK Westchester.
