About Bestcare Bestcare is a licensed home health care organization continuously striving to provide comprehensive, cost-effective home health care services to the clients we serve. This is to be accomplished by maintaining a highly professional staff of care providers to meet all our clients' needs. Bestcare was established in 1981. The company's goal at inception was to provide RNs, LPNs, Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides to meet the needs of the population residing in our service areas. Through the years, the company has established 9 fully operational offices throughout the New York metropolitan area, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties, and in New Jersey known as Bestcare Home Health Services LLC, dba Western-Eden Medical Services. Bestcare has been licensed by the New York State Department of Health since 1986 the inception of licensure regulations and accredited by Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) since 1993. In New Jersey, Bestcare is licensed to provide services as Bestcare Home Health Services LLC, dba Western-Eden Medical Services. The office is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and Commission on Accreditation Home Care, Inc (CAHC). Bestcare is a member with leadership responsibilities of the Home Care Association of New York State and a member of the Home Care Providers Association of New York State. Located at Bestcare's corporate headquarters are all executive and administrative personnel including the Clinical and Accounting Departments. Additionally, there is an insurance specialist who is available to assist our clients by interfacing with insurance companies and third party payers to insure that our clients are knowledgeable about their insurance coverage.
