Brother Jimmy's West Side

Brother Jimmy's first opened its doors in 1988 and is famous for its traditional Southern-style barbecue that is smoked in-house using cookshack smokers. The restaurant s menu features a variety of sandwiches, desserts, burgers, starters, salads, stew and beverages. It has a bar that allows guests to watch sporting events while sipping thematically inspired drinks, such as Plantation Punch, Carolina Cooler, Southern Belle and Swamp Water. The restaurant has a full-service catering division that was launched in 2001 and caters events for several organizations, such as the New York Jets, MTV, Price Waterhouse, Sotheby s and First American Title Insurance. It also provides barbecue services at various public events, such as The Hudson River Park BBQ & Blues Festival and CD 101.9 JAZZFEST. Brother Jimmy s also sells a range of merchandise, including shirts, hoodies, hats, glassware and condiments. It maintains locations in New York City.
