BH-BL High School

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School provides a thorough academic preparation and learning opportunities to the students of Saratoga County in New York. The school enrolls more than 1,100 students, and is governed by Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District. It offers classes from grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, such as English, mathematics, science, language art, social studies, arts and music, band, health, physical education, computer studies, special education and various elective options. It also offers a variety of extracurricular and club activities, including drama club and stage crew, jazz ensemble, pep band, art and debate club, and Spanish club. The school operates a counseling and career center, and a parent-teacher-student association. It additionally provides various athletic programs, including bowling, soccer, tennis, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, badminton, track and field, softball and gymnastics. Located in Burnt Hills, N.Y., the school has a fully equipped library, a media center and a computer lab.
