North Rose-Wolcott High School serves students in grades nine through 12. Its health classes offer information on substance abuse, nutrition, lifestyle diseases, human sexuality, relationships and AIDS. The school s career and financial management courses emphasize on banking, insurance, economics, consumerism and personal resource management. The school also offers vocational courses in auto technology, carpentry, cosmetology, culinary arts, drafting, power mechanics and advertising. Its physical education program offers a range of sports activities, such as golf, tennis, badminton, racquetball, kayaking, volleyball, softball, archery and soccer. Located in Wolcott, N.Y., North Rose-Wolcott High School also operates a counseling office that offers assistance with college and career plans. Additionally, the school operates various recreational and subject-based clubs.

St. Joseph's College of Nursing is a two-year, private, nonprofit institution, offering various undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing. The college enrolls more than 250 students and offers associate degrees. It offers classes in anatomy, psychology, physiology, microbiology, nutrition, critical writing and pharmacology. The college offers weekend programs for registered nurses that include 180 hours of clinical practice each semester in departments, including pediatrics, medical and surgery, oncology, geriatrics and psychiatry. It also offers a dual degree program, residential facilities for male and female students with separate bathrooms. The college is approved by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
