Founded in 1978, the Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center is a community-based organization that develops skills in a variety of art forms for children, teens and adults. It is a cultural institution that provides instruction in the area of performing arts for students. The institution provides instructive sessions for piano, violin, guitar, drums, flute, clarinet and keyboard. The Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center provides classes in disciplines, such as tap, ballet, adult yoga, West African salsa and dance fundamentals.
