Beechwood Development is a New York State licensed and fully insured real estate company started by real estate entrepreneur, Cheryl A Hurley. The company was initially formed to manage Ms. Hurley's own real estate holdings.Since 1994, Cheryl has developed her expertise in real estate investing. She focused on bank foreclosures, tax auctions, and distressed properties. She utilized buy-and-hold strategies ( rent ) to develop a multimillion dollar portfolio. Keys to Cheryl's success include her ability to select long-term tenants; implement buy-renovate-finance strategies; and create a dedicated rehab and maintenance crew. She has built a full service property management team around her; including tenant selection and management; accounting; legal; and maintenance. Applying her successful experience with the knowledge of wealth building, Cheryl can help others to build and sustain a solid cash flow property portfolio.Cheryl is a 1983 graduate of Northwestern University. She received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences. Cheryl also received a M.S. in Creative and Critical Thinking from Buffalo State University in 1993. Cheryl worked for Eastman Kodak Company for 23 years where she had a variety of assignments. Working as a Quality Improvement Facilitator, she coached teams to meet 10X Improvement Goals. She utilized SPC ( Statistical Process Control ) to improve performance. For 7 years, Cheryl was a Manufacturing Supervisor creating self-managed teams to reach key Performance Goals. She works with people and helps them to develop their strengths to benefit the team. Cheryl has the unique ability to coach others on getting involved in the Real Estate Business. In addition, she can motivate people to action on whatever they want to do in their lives to build and sustain wealth for generations to come.
