Angela Kanna, M.D.

Dr. Andrew Chan serves as Director of Minimally Invasive Scoliosis Surgery and Director of Neurosurgical Spine Research. In patient care, Dr. Chan specializes in surgeries for a variety of conditions, including spinal deformities such as scoliosis and kyphosis, spinal tumors, and degenerative spinal disease (affecting the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine). His surgical techniques range from minimally invasive to complex. Dr. Chan earned his medical degree at Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his residency in the Department of Neurological Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). His additional training includes a fellowship in spinal deformity and minimally invasive complex spine surgery at Duke University. Dr. Chan is focused on improving spine surgical care via his research. He has won multiple awards for his research including: The Neurosurgery Top Spine Paper of the Year with the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS); the Stewart Dunsker Award for Best Clinical Spine Abstract at the American Association of Neurological Surgeons (AANS); and the Journalistic and Academic Neurosurgical Excellence (J.A.N.E.) and Mayfield Clinical Science Awards at the AANS/CNS Joint Section Meeting on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves. He also prides himself on his patient care, having received the prestigious Howard Naffziger Award for Outstanding Clinical Service while at UCSF.

Tarren Feinberg is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in the diagnosis and management of spine conditions. She utilizes evidenced based, non-operative treatment methods for patients with spine conditions. She diagnoses and treats patients with a wide array of spine conditions including cervical and lumbar herniated discs, radiculopathy, stenosis, scoliosis, kyphosis, and spondylolisthesis. Prior to joining Dr. Lehman’s team, Tarren worked as a registered nurse (RN) on a busy surgical unit at New York Presbyterian Hospital caring for patients undergoing complex spine surgery. Tarren treats each patient holistically, with dignity and respect. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and provides education so the patient leaves empowered with knowledge of their condition and appropriate treatment. Tarren is board certified through the American Nurse Credentialing Center.

Maria Grigovich, M.D. is a fellowship-trained radiologist with specialization in Abdominal Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine.Dr. Grigovich graduated from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University in Moscow, Russia where she earned her M.D. with Honors in 2012. After completing a Radiology residency in Russia in 2014, Dr. Grigovich relocated to the United States. Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, she completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA in 2022 where she served as a chief resident and earned the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award.Dr. Grigovich completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023. She joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in August 2023 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology and a member of the Body Imaging Division.Dr. Grigovich has clinical expertise in abdominopelvic imaging. She interprets CT, MRI, radiography, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy studies of the abdomen and pelvis, as well as PET/CT and PET/MRI imaging.Her clinical and research interests include advanced liver imaging, gynecologic imaging, and sonography, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound.Dr. Grigovich is actively involved in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students.
