Great! Not actually a member though. Just as a guest it is a great place with a pool, beach access and a nice restaurants well as nice tennis courts and much more.

Established in 1883, The American Yacht Club offers classes on seamanship and sailing. It organizes an annual invitational cruise and conducts competitions on sailing that is open to members. Yacht club events include the annual Spring Regatta and the Western Long Island Sound Multihull Championship. The Spring Regatta has sailing competitions during the day, and a formal dress social event in the evening. The club also provides yacht decks on rent. Additionally, it organizes various recreational programs and dance parties. The American Yacht Club's facilities include harbor and slips, a clubhouse with bar, tennis courts and a tennis pro shop.
