American Foundation For the Blind

American Foundation for the Blind provides independent living resources and products. It is a nonprofit organization that expands possibilities for people with vision loss. It provides adapted games and scissors, utensils, tableware, nonskid table mats and writing devices. It also offers printed books, computer software, labeling and marking products, low-vision and mobility devices, personal care, recreation and leisure and talking products. It provides a wide variety of games, such as bridge, bingo, scrabble, chess, monopoly and checkers. It additionally offers outdoor activities, such as running, swimming and bicycling. It is headquartered in New York City, and has offices in Atlanta, Dallas, Huntington, W.Va., and San Francisco.
