Dr. Lin received his college and medical degree from Northwestern Universityin Chicago, underwent residency training at NewYork-Presybterian Hospital Weill Cornell Medical Center here in New York, then completed gynecologic oncology fellowship training at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Pittsburgh.After training, Dr. Lin entered private practice in the Silicon Valley (even participated in an early-stage biotech start-up!). He then returned to academia at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Southern California, honing and expanding HIPEC techniques and surgical approaches, and is now returning to Weill Cornell Medicine. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. Lin aims to bring his expertise in avant garde surgical techniques and treatment options, such HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy), to serve the patients at Cornell. His clinical interests include novel surgical techniques, patient-centered care, and clinical outcomes research.Dr. Lin is double-board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology as well asgynecologic oncology.
