Alexandra Canetti, MD

Dr. Alyson Fox earned her BA in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University prior to attending the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she served as assistant chief resident. She completed her Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. While at Penn, she completed a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology and served as chief fellow. She completed her advanced fellowship training in Advanced Transplant Hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco and was named clinical fellow of the year by the Department of Medicine. Dr. Fox's clinical practice is focused on the management of patients with a variety of liver diseases including viral hepatitis, alcoholic and non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases, inherited and autoimmune liver diseases and liver cancers. As a transplant hepatologist, she has advanced training in the management of the complications of end stage liver disease and caring for patients both pre- and post- liver transplantation. As the medical director of the adult transplant program, she oversees the program operations, protocols, outcomes and initiatives. When she is not caring for patients, she is active as a course director and educator at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Jennifer Jones, AuD currently serves as Assistant Professor of Audiology at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Jones received her Masters of Science Degree from Hunter College and her Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Osborne College of Audiology at Salus University. Prior to joining Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Jones served as Senior Audiologist at The New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai for 12 years. Dr. Jones focused on providing hearing and balance services to both adult and pediatric patient populations. Dr. Joness clinical interests lie in audiological diagnostic testing, vestibular diagnostic testing, and adult amplification. Dr. Jones holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology.

Dr. Fedoronko is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry in the Consultation-Liaison and Behavioral Medicine division. He received an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Wayne State University before studying medicine at the University of Michigan Medical School. He completed residency in psychiatry at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He then came to Columbia to complete a fellowship in consultation-liaison psychiatry. He has remained on faculty since that time. He currently serves as liaison to the lung transplant, heart transplant, and heart failure programs at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He additionally serves as a consultant to the general hospital. His interests include the management of mood and anxiety disorders in patients with severe medical illness and the influence of personality style on coping mechanisms and medical outcomes. He is active in teaching as he directs the consultation-liaison component of the third year medical student clerkship in psychiatry. Dr. Fedoronko is also active in clinical supervising and lecturing to psychiatry residents and fellows. Past honors include the William Webb Fellowship from the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, the outstanding graduate in consultation-liaison psychiatry from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, the Raymond Waggoner Award from the University of Michigan Medical School, and election to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
