Alan Ralph Coffino, MD, PhD

Dr. Michael J. Vitti, a board-certified vascular surgeon, is an expert in the performance of lower-extremity bypass surgery for limb salvage, repair of aortic aneurysms, carotid endarterectomy for stroke prevention, and dialysis access procedures. He also specializes in minimally invasive treatment of lower-extremity vein disease, from varicose veins to stasis ulcers. Since 2005, Dr. Vitti has been the Director of the Eastern Vascular Vein Center which serves as a center of excellence devoted to the performance of office-based, minimally invasive, laser treatments for relief of painful varicose veins, and severe venous stasis disorders including ulcerations of the lower legs. To date, he has performed over 5000 such procedures with excellent clinical success. Dr. Vitti completed his undergraduate training at Fordham University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical education at New York University School of Medicine in 1986. He then completed his General Surgery Residency at St. Luke's - Roosevelt Hospital in 1992. During that time he published basic science research regarding the immunologic characteristics of atherosclerosis. Dr. Vitti completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 1994 where he also received specialized training in Vascular Ultrasound. He has authored textbook chapters and peer review articles centering on the Noninvasive Ultrasound Diagnosis of both Arterial and Venous Disorders. Since 1997, Dr. Vitti has had hospital appointments as a Staff Vascular Surgeon at New York Westchester Square Hospital as well as Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center. From March 2003 until March 2018, Dr. Vitti served as a Vascular Attending at Montefiore Medical Center, specifically at Albert Einstein Hospital where he also actively participated in the training of Surgical residents He joined Columbia Doctors and has been practicing at Lawrence Hospital since March 2018. His current research focus is on the impact of endovenous procedures on the natural history lower extremity venous disease.

Jessica Paige Harris, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal medicine and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract. Dr. Harris earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, completed her residency at Stony Brook University Hospital, and complete her Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Harris has been specializing in Colitis and Biliary Stones. She has served her community over the years and aims to continue treating patients with the best gastroenterology care possible. She is trained and experienced in all endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy, polyp removal, and endoscopy (EGD). David E. Lin, MD, FACG, is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine and specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract.After graduating from Cornell University, Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center and served his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lakeside VA Medical Center in Chicago, IL.Dr. Lin treats a range of conditions, including acid reflux diseases (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, and colon cancer. He is trained and experienced in all endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopy, polyp removal, and endoscopy (EGD). He has special experience in biliary endoscopy (ERCP), PillCam SB Capsule endoscopy, and non-surgical hemorrhoid treatments.
