The business honors the legacy of Mark Twain, who spent the summer of 1901 in Saranac Lake, by naming their syrup production after him and his camp, which has been in the family since 1913. As they prepare for their eleventh season in 2024, Mark Twain Maple Works offers a variety of maple products, although syrup availability is currently limited.
