Superior Ambulance Service, located in Albuquerque, N.M., is the second largest ambulance provider in New Mexico. Superior is primarily an Inter-Facility transportation service, providing BLS, ALS, and CCT transportation services within the city and throughout New Mexico. Superior Medical Transportation is a sister corporation of Superior Ambulance - Albuquerque. SMT was developed to operate as a transportation management service. SMT provides transportation management services for Lovelace SALUD an MCO for New Mexico Medicaid. SMT is a call center that all members of Lovelace SALUD within the state of New Mexico must utilize to schedule all transportation services for their medical appointments. SMT also reviews and approves all ambulance and air-ambulance transportation services provided to the members of Lovelace SALUD.
