Placitas Animal Rescue, located in Placitas, New Mexico, was established in 1988 to address the absence of an Animal Shelter and Animal Control Officer in Sandoval County. Over the past 26 years, this non-profit organization has grown to care for 52 Wild Mustangs, 60 Dogs, and 17 Cats, solely relying on donations from generous individuals.

Committed to the welfare of animals, Placitas Animal Rescue operates independently from government support, dedicating their efforts to providing a safe haven and necessary care for these animals in need.
