I used to love Mata G when they first opened, but paying $17 for a "salad" is quite ridiculous when it's all filler lettuce. Their salads used to be $14 just last year and had more of the other...

We were happy to find veg options in ABQ and ate lunch and carried food out for our trip to White sands. We got the tempeh roll, the pretzel roll and a couple of salad rolls along with the borscht...

You can't beat this place. The food is unsurpassed. The owner makes you feel right at home. I'm not vegetarian but the food is soooo good. Definitely try this place. You won't be sorry
