I'm a former science teacher and summer camp director. We saw a need for a place for kids to make friends and learn about creating with technology as well as traditional media.

Specialties

We are a Maker Space for kids. Our classes/camps explore everything from fine art to robotics to coding. Our activities are appropriate for kids 7+ years old. We specialize in small groups with lots of individual attention.

This is a hidden gem in Eldorado. We visit Santa Fe a few times a year and we've done the Children's Museum to death. Luckily we found this place. They have tons of Legos, Duplos, board games, art...

The Academy For Technology and the Classics

The Academy for Technology and the Classics is a public charter school that provides technology-based education to students. The school conducts classes in English, math, science and social studies. The Academy for Technology and the Classics also provides classes in modern language, communications and physical education. The school offers courses in Web page design and 3-D animation. It specializes in providing instruction in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian and Latin using computer based instruction and immersion sessions. The school maintains a Marimba band and its parent-teacher association is involved in various school and student welfare activities. The Academy for Technology and the Classics enroll more than 200 students in grades 7 through 12.
