The Hispanic Genealogical Research Center of New Mexico (HGRC) is a non-profit society dedicated to encouraging and nurturing the interests of its members in the pursuit of their Hispanic ancestors and history. They provide a common ground for members to share their genealogical knowledge and research, instruct others in the methods of Hispanic genealogical research, and promote the utilization of genealogical collections and other materials to ensure the correctness and proper documentation of all research.
The HGRC also maintains the Great New Mexico Pedigree Database (GNMPD), a comprehensive genealogy database of the Hispanic ancestors of New Mexico and their descendants. They publish a monthly newsletter and a quarterly journal, and offer a variety of genealogical and historical research reference materials to their members and the public. The HGRC is located at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
