Fathima Sahulhameed, MD, MPH, specializes in family medicine.Dr. Sahulhameed is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. She has delivered local invited presentations in the Healthy Families for Life project for Hunterdon Medical Center. She also has delivered presentations on teen pregnancy for University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Public Health. Her presentations have included topics such as childhood obesity, healthy lifestyles, unintended teen pregnancy, and contraceptive use.Global medicine is among Dr. Sahulhameed's passions. She has been a volunteer for A Mission of Sharing (AMOS) Hope and Health in Nicaragua, the Komfo Anoyke Teaching Hospital in West Africa, and the Gampola Base Teaching Hospital in Sri Lanka, among others. She says, "My volunteer work has taught me about the hardships many people face. Visits to my native country, Sri Lanka, have influenced and encouraged me to draw on my talent, opportunity, and vision to help others." She adds, "Delivering health care in developing countries has highlighted the importance of primary care in maintaining a healthy population and successful community. I plan to continue participating in volunteer work for local and international communities."When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Sahulhameed enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys painting, drawing, and ceramics.

In addition to her position at Summit Health, Nicole Henry-Dindial, MD, is Attending Physician and Secretary in the Department of Family Medicine at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, New Jersey. She is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Dr. Henry-Dindial mentors third-year medical students in her practice and through the Overlook Family Practice and Chatham Family Practice Residency Programs.Before joining Summit Health, Dr. Henry-Dindial practiced with Paramount Medical Group/Westfield Family Practice, Springfield Family Practice, and Millburn Family Practices, all located in New Jersey.Dr. Henry-Dindial is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Society of Colposcopists and Cervical Pathologists, and Union County Medical Society. She is Vice Speaker and a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey. She is Former President of the Union County Medical Society.Dr. Henry -Dindial has been featured in the Consumer Research Council of America "Top Family Doctors" listing. She is a recipient of the City University of New York Medical School Sidney I. and Eleanor T. Silverman Human Values Award."My grandmother and parents emphasized the importance of sharing one's talents and good fortune with those who are less fortunate. As a result of their influence, I felt inspired to attend to the needs of others by helping heal their physical ailments." She adds, "I'm devoted to earning my patients' trust. For this reason, I give them the same high-quality care I would give my own family. It's especially important to me to treat my patients as a whole," she says, "and address their emotional as well as their physical issues. I find it gratifying to work in a family practice where I can treat patients from all walks of life, from birth through the end of life."
