Career Opportunity Development provides vocational training, supported employment, residential services and welfare to work training and job placement. It provides work force solution that includes assembling, collating, packaging, inspections, envelope stuffing and sealing, labeling, quality control, folding and other tasks for promotional and mass mailings. It also provides a full-service residential program for adults with a mental illness, such as group homes, semi-independent apartments, supportive and supported housing arrangements. It receives funding from various sources, such as New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services, New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities, New Jersey Department of Vocational Rehabilitation and County of Atlantic. It is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Career Opportunity Development was founded in 1970 and is located in Egg Harbor City, N.J.

Founded in 1986, HELP USA is one of the largest nonprofit builders, developers and operators of transitional and supportive housing with comprehensive on-site human services for homeless individuals in the United States. The organization has helped over 150,000 clients regain their lives since its beginning. HELP USA serves more than 10,000 homeless and low-income individuals each year at over 20 residential programs in nearly 10 communities throughout the U.S. It offers substance abuse and domestic violence treatment, community development, affordable housing and job training services. HELP USA also provides on-site support services for specialized population suffering with domestic violence at each of its nine homeless shelters in the metropolitan New York area. In addition, the organization manages a domestic violence community hotline in Brooklyn with services in English and Spanish, and offers specialized group counseling and employment services for families making the transition from welfare to work.
