Philadelphia Truck Lines, Inc is a family-owned business created in 1982 for the purpose of doing local pick-up and delivery in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties. Since that time, we have grown significantly and we now service the entire state of Delaware, all of southern New Jersey ( Burlington County to Cape May County ), in addition to our original service areas. We have 18 trucks on the street daily to provide the service you may need. All trucks are late model straight trucks equipped with lift gates, and all drivers are equipped with Nextel cell phones/two way radios. A relatively new edition to our fleet is our high cube, air ride straight truck which can accommodate that odd, oversized piece you may occassionally have. Our line-haul division, which services routes between the IAD, BWI, PHL, EWR, and JFK airports on a nightly basis, was created in 1986 with one straight truck. It now consists of six late model tractors, two 48-foot trailers, and eight 53-foot trailers. All of the 53-foot trailers are air ride and two of those are roller-beds. Philadelphia Truck Lines, Inc is an agent for several domestic and international air freight forwarders, and the designated carrier for more than 20 JFK-based international airlines. Our billing system is completely automated using the Data Trac system. Each of your terminals or your Corporate office will be faxed charges and P.O.D. information on a daily basis and/or within a time frame that you designate.
