History

Over so many years of practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Kuo realized that animals are not always beneficial from veterinary care in the hospital. Having the stress from being confined in the carrier, annual car ride and unfamiliar hospital environment, some animals suffer from motion sickness, fear and anxiety for their veterinary hospital visit. I love visiting dogs, cats and exotics in their homes where they are calm, relaxed and fear-free. Better assessment of the physical condition and behavior change would be obtained when pets are in their own territory where they feel stress-free and comfortable. Evaluating the husbandary for exotic animals is another highlight of the house-call vet visit due to the fact that more than 85% of exotic animal illness relates to poor husbandary.
