Heart house Cardiology

Dr. Alexander Blake Smith is a board-certified cardiologist in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, cardiovascular disease, and internal medicine. Dr. Smith joined The Heart House in 2025. His focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, and ventricular arrhythmias. His expertise includes catheter ablation procedures, device implantation such as pacemakers and defibrillators, and advanced management of complex arrhythmias.

Dr. Zinn graduated from Emory University with Phi Beta Kappa honors. He earned his medical degree from New York University, graduating first in his class with AOA distinction. Dr. Zinn remained at NYU for his residency and chief residency in internal medicine, as well as fellowships in general and interventional cardiology. Dr. Zinn has published articles on the optimal treatment of diabetes in coronary heart disease and also on optimal adjunctive medical therapy during catheterization procedures.
