Family Service is a private, nonprofit agency that serves the behavioral health care needs of children, individuals and families in central and southern New Jersey. The agency offers access to more than 60 programs. It provides rental assistance, illness management, and permanent supportive and transitional emergency housing solutions. Family Service also offers case management and counseling options. The agency manages Stepping Stone, which provides community-based living options for emotionally troubled females. In addition, it offers adult treatment programs for developmentally disabled individuals. The agency provides psychiatric support, medication monitoring and prevocational training services. Family Service additionally manages a food pantry.

Princeton House Behavioral Health’s Moorestown location provides intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs for adults and children. Each program focuses on the specific needs of individuals. Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network Inc. delivers behavioral health care through counseling, rehabilitation and education, to impart training for people with disabilities. Based in Belleville, N.J., the center provides outpatient treatment program and bio-psycho social assessment services. It provides Individual Therapy, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Medication Monitoring, Health Monitoring and Referral for the young and adults. Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network Inc. has the license from The New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services to provide outpatient mental health services.
