Raritan Bay Medical Center is a nonprofit health care organization that provides medical services to residents of Central New Jersey, including the communities of Aberdeen, Carteret, East Brunswick, Edison, Freehold, Marlboro, Matawan, Metuchen, New Brunswick, Old Bridge, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South River and Woodbridge. Its services include addiction treatment, cancer treatment, cardiology, mammography, pediatrics and radiology, as well as a variety of educational programs. Since 1986 the center has maintained a philosophy of Pride in Caring. It has also been a major clinical affiliate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey s Robert Wood Johnson Medical School since 2003. Raritan Bay Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as well as more than a dozen other accreditation organizations. It is located in Perth Amboy, N.J., and operates an additional division in Old Bridge, N.J.
