The Belmont Tavern is a family run restaurant which has been a part of Belleville, NJ for over 50 years and has a long, rich history in the Newark NJ area. Our walls are covered with photos of patrons, celebrities, athletes, and politicians who add to the lively, friendly atmosphere at the Belmont. Our wonderful, loyal customers come from all over to enjoy our classic and original dishes such as Stretch's Chicken Savoy, Shrimp Beeps, ziti pot cheese and many others. Over the years, generations of families have enjoyed our food. We are proud to see Grandchildren of longtime customers now bringing their young families to share in the Belmont tradition. Many of our original dishes are now found on the menus of restaurants throughout the area, often imitated but never duplicated.
