Slate Salon was built by Armand O'Barton and his father 50 Years ago. Then it was a Barber Shop. When Armand retired, he sold it and the name was changed to Lamprey Waves. After 5 years of ownership, Kathryn purchased the salon in 2010 and changed it's name to Lamprey Waves Hair Salon. Later wanting her own name and a clean slate she came up with Slate Salon & Spa and kept
