A coeducational residential school, Phillips Exeter Academy serves more than 1,000 students in grades nine through 12. One of the leading education institutes in the United States, Exeter has been operational for more than 100 years. Founded by John Phillips, it offers special college preparatory education classes and other academic programs. The academy s courses include mathematics, English, science, foreign languages, history, geography, economics, industrial arts, physical and health education, music, arts and crafts, phonic, psychology, human development, and anthropology. It also offers various special programs, including on- and off-campus learning modules, field courses, senior projects and advanced placement services, and study abroad programs in France, Italy, Spain, England, Germany, Ireland, China, Russia and Mexico. Based in Exeter, N.H., the academy s facilities include technology-based library, Phelps science center, Grainger observatory, art center, Forrestal-Bowld music hall, Fisher theater, and fully equipped gymnasium.

Some private schools don't really seem that different from public schools. This private school looks exactly like a college campus. Exeter is also a great city, great location to go to school....

I had the opportunity to visit Exeter many times, as my sister went to school there. The facilities are RIDICULOUS!! Endless squash courts, heated dual hockey rinks, olympic size swimming pools....
