I became interested in pursuing a career in medicine when I was treated by a physician assistant (PA). She took the time to hear my concerns and answer my questions. That experience convinced me that I wanted to be able to do the same for others. I aim to approach every patient with a positive attitude. I listen carefully to what they have to say. I never want to leave the patient with unanswered questions. I love working in the field of cardiothoracic surgery. It’s very rewarding to see patients experience immediate improvements after their surgery.
