Established in 1966, Genesis Behavioral Health is a mental health care organization that provides case management and individual and family therapies. It also offers medication monitoring, mental disability diagnosis and psychiatric assessment services. Genesis Behavioral Health provides TREK, an adventure-based treatment program that helps young people to develop peer relationships and self-esteem and problem solving skills. It also offers screening, treatment, and short-term and overnight respite care services, as well as assistance with issues related to depression, anxiety, family violence, sexual abuse and separation. Genesis Behavioral Health provides individual, children, family and group counseling and residential services. In addition, it offers alcohol and drug addiction prevention programs. Genesis Behavioral Health maintains one of its facilities in Plymouth, N.H.
