The Ashland NH Historical Society's museum, originally constructed around 1869, served as a passenger station for the Boston, Concord Montreal Railroad.

Following a merger with the Concord Railroad in 1890, the station was relocated and renovated to its current design in 1891 by the newly formed Concord Montreal Railroad.
