Founded in 1965, Amherst Country Club is a golf center as well as a place for recreational activities. Based in Amherst, N.H., the golf center covers 140 acres of the land space while maintaining an 18-hole public golf course. The club offers a variety of gentle contours and annual fee plans for golf. It conducts play for all levels, including men, women and juniors . The club organizes several tournaments, outings and leagues throughout the season and business and private groups are allowed for participation. Its client list includes PC Connection, Fidelity, PSNH, HP-Compaq, Currier Lumber, NEBS, Citronics, EWGA and Anheuser-Busch Co. In addition, the center accommodates special events, including birthday parties, bridal shower, baby shower and meetings.

I play at ACC a lot. Its high time they fixed the delays. They reduced the gap between tee times to 8 mins and since then there is always a minimum 20 minutes delay. At least leave a tee time here...

It's a bargain, but the course is mediocre with nothing memorable or interesting. Clubhouse & food is better than Overlook but that's not a tall task.
