VR Kids

History

VR Kids, Inc. was founded in November 2014 by RJ Sampson. Inspired while watching a video of a boy with cerebral palsy enjoying a game in virtual reality, it was in that moment RJ first witnessed the therapeutic power of virtual reality and VR Kids was born. VR Kids is a non-profit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada. We provide virtual reality therapy to children, teens, and young adults with special needs. Whether at home or in the hospital, we come to you. The best part is we provide our virtual reality services at no cost to you, your pediatrician, or hospital. Our virtual reality experiences are like immersive storybooks specifically designed for boys and girls ages 7 and up. We custom design each of our experiences for optimal comfort. The virtual storybooks are designed to be friendly, calm, and fun. All of our virtual reality experiences are designed for the child to be seated on a bed or chair.
