Seven Magic Mountains is a large-scale public art installation created by internationally renowned Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, located near Jean Dry Lake and Interstate 15, approximately ten miles south of Las Vegas, Nevada. This vibrant artwork consists of seven towers of colorful stacked boulders, each standing over thirty feet high and set against the stunning backdrop of the Mojave Desert.
Originally opened on May 11, 2016, for a two-year exhibition, the installation gained immense popularity, prompting efforts to extend its display. Produced by the Nevada Museum of Art and Art Production Fund, Seven Magic Mountains continues to captivate visitors as a creative expression of human presence in the desert landscape.
