The Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre is an official school of Nevada Ballet Theatre located in Las Vegas. Founded in 1979, it is a nonprofit ballet and dance training center. The academy also provides instruction in modern, jazz, tap and hip-hop. The Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre has a faculty of approximately 20 qualified instructors. It offers pre-professional, ballet, training, children and adult programs. The academy s special programs include a three-week summer intensive program with internationally acclaimed guest instructors and a creative dance camp for children. The Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre s students are selected by audition to become a member of the Nevada Ballet Theatre Youth Company, which is a preprofessional company of Nevada Ballet Theatre.
