Dr. Brian Citro is an experienced board-certified general surgeon practicing in Las Vegas. At his practice, NexusCare, Dr. Citro offers a myriad of services and treats patients with hernias, biliary disease, reflux disease, and many other health problems. He has extensive experience behind him, and he is committed to providing the most efficient, highest quality, and courteous health care service possible. Throughout his career and academic education, Dr. Citro has conducted extensive research and won awards in surgical competitions and university achievements. He strives to be a lifelong learner by staying informed of medical and technological advances in his field. Quite the traveler, Dr. Citro served his residency at Michigan State University, attended medical school at Ross University in Dominica, the West Indies, and received his Physician Executive Master of Businesses Administration at The University of Tennessee. He has been a member of the American Association for Physician Leadership for over a decade, and he's also a member of the Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Citro has been practicing general surgery in Las Vegas since 2006. He's the Chief of Surgery and trains surgical residents as a faculty member for the Surgical Residency Program at Mountain View Hospital. Dr. Citro was born and raised in the San Francisco East Bay and has a love for music and his three dogs.
