Layne Keck is the owner and instructor of Capstone Institute of Hypnotherapy, licensed by the Nevada Commission on Postsecondary Education. Layne graduated from the University of Southern Colorado with a BS Degree in Business Administration. Layne began his study of hypnotherapy in 1979 and has been a practicing Hypnotherapist since 1983. He has not only learned hypnotherapy from the academic standpoint, but began his studies as a result of dramatic changes in his health, finances, relationships, and outlook of life, from his own experiences with hypnotherapy as a client. Layne's most influential teacher has been his Hypnotherapist, Helen Baucum, who was recognized as "Woman of the Century", by the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame. Layne has served as the Executive Director of the National Society of Hypnotherapists from 1993 to Present. He is also a member of the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame Guild, A.C.H.E., International Hypnosis Federation, and the Southern Nevada Chapter of IACT. He has taught Clinical Hypnotherapy to students, as well as educating the public in presentations at high school Psychology Classes, Community College Classes, and many Civic Organizations. He has taught stress management classes for Human Resources at major Las Vegas Hotels. He has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the BBC in documentaries concerning the restoration of memory loss and has also been interviewed countless times on the Radio and Television. Layne has been called to testify in court as an expert witness in hypnosis and has taught at National Hypnotherapy Conventions across the Country. Layne was inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame in 2001 which chooses its inductees from the span of recorded hypnosis to the present and bases its presentation on one's contribution to the field of Hypnosis. Layne Keck practices and teaches the "Pinpoint" method of Hypnotherapy, enabling both student and client alike to discover the "Root Cause" of the subconscious block creating the problem or undesireable habit pattern and work towards its reversal or removal. The Pinpoint method of Hypnotherapy is highly successful in gaining lasting Freedom.
