Located in Lincoln, Neb., the Child Guidance Center is a private, nonprofit agency that provides mental health services to children, adolescents and their families. Founded in 1949, the center employs a team of mental health professionals who have expertise in the areas of psychiatry, psychology and social work. It also offers family, art and play therapy, as well as counseling services. The center provides treatment to children and youths between the ages of 1 and 19. It is accredited by The Joint Commission. The Child Guidance Center is affiliated with Region V Systems, Lincoln Public Schools and Lancaster County Youth Services Center.
