The Missoula Montana Temple was announced on 3 pril 2022, by President Russell M. Nelson as the third temple in the state. The temple is currently in the planning and approval phase. A groundbreaking date has not yet been announced. Plans call for a 19,000 square foot, single-story building with an accompanying ancillary building.
