Hi-Country Snack Foods, founded in 1976, is being sold on a number of routes and through several distributors and retailers throughout Montana. Hi-Country Snack Foods and its products are available in select Wal-Marts, Sam's Clubs, Albertson's, HEBs, and other locally owned grocery and convenience stores throughout the Intermountain Region. In 1996, Hi-Country Snack Foods opened its own onsite retail store, The Hi-Country Trading Post. As the popularity of its meat snacks grew, the company expanded its offerings to include online ordering, as well as mail order brochures. Hi-Country Snack Foods is located in Lincoln, Mont.
