Serendipity Photography

History

From a young age I had always envisioned running my own business. So it was only natural that it be a combination of the two things I love more than anything, working with people and being creative. I started Serendipity Photography in early 2009, shortly after my son was born. He made quite the grand entrance 5 weeks early & enjoyed his first helicopter ride on his birthday. The day he was born changed me forever. During that pivotal time when I was at one hospital and my son at another, the images my husband brought to me were all I had. I realized at that time just how strong my passion for photography had grown. Besides my love for the movie starring John Cusack & Kate Beckisdale, that's why I chose the name Serendipity. I instantly related with its meaning: the irony of finding something good while not specifically searching for it. Jack's birth leading me back to photography was Serendipity at it's finest.
