Saint Louis Science Center offers a range of services and amenities to visitors. Located in St. Louis, the center operates the James S. McDonnell Planetarium that is one of the nation's leading space education facilities. It features the Boeing space station with two levels of exhibits that incorporate scientific research, illustrating the future of space travel. It also has the Discovery Room, a place for children of ages three through seven to explore a range of interactive exhibits. The center provides exhibits that allow children to experiment with the properties of magnets and explore the ways in which water behaves at the water table. The center offers a large animated tyrannosaurus rex and triceratops in the ecology and environment galleries. It also features a DNA Zone, kaleidoscope, laser harp and science demonstrations.
