Rajiv R. Handa, MD

Dr. Michael is a native of the St. Louis metropolitan area and graduate of Saint Louis University. Specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery and brain tumor surgery, he emphasizes conservative treatments whenever possible, designing individualized care plans tailored specifically to each patient's unique needs and goals. When surgery is necessary, Dr. Michael employs the latest minimally invasive techniques, focusing on reduced pain, faster recovery, and optimal outcomes.He currently serves as Chair of the Public Affairs Committee for the North American Spine Society and was recognized as one of SpineLine magazine's "20 Under 40 in Spine Care." Dr. Michael is also honored to serve as a professional advisor for the Cancer Support Community of Greater St. Louis. His contributions to spine surgery and brain tumor surgery are widely recognized, including numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and award-winning presentations.
