Founded by John Cotter, True Value Company is a cooperative comprised of member owners who are entrepreneur-retailers. Formerly known as TruServ Corporation, the company has been operational for more than 55 years. Haedquatred in Kansas City, Mo., it has more than 10 distribution centers and 3,000 associates throughout the United States. True Value Company also has more than 6,000 stores worldwide. It also offers poly sheeting products, screen and glass products, shutters, signs, letters and numbers, tarps and bungees, threaded wires, totes, window covering material, wood dowels, and wrought iron products.
